Chapter 5: Joy and Heartache...

Anderson continues to amaze Tanya.  Anderson makes the honor roll and gets to go on several field trips around Sunset Valley.  His favorite was the one to the museum where he got to check out some really cool artwork.  This inspires him to start painting in his spare time.

He quickly become quite skilled at it.  After his first few attempts he creates a painting that sells for a couple hundred simoleans, which he promptly uses to buy a few new toys.  Best of all, he and Connor start to rebuild their relationship.  Connor tries to visit at least once a week and calls even more often than that.

Tanya is super excited when she realizes she's pregnant again.  She can't wait to have another baby! Anderson was so cute when he was younger, not that he isn't still cute, but Tanya knows soon he'd rather spend time with his friends than her.

Growing up she had always wanted a large family, she just didn't realize that she'd still want that as an adult.  Tanya always thought she would be a horrible mother, she was always such a party-animal and couldn't imagine staying home most nights instead of going to the local clubs.

Sometimes she still misses it, the partying, the dancing, rocking out, and the drinks. But nothing compares to cuddling on the couch with Anderson watching his favorite cartoons on a Saturday morning.

She was a little worried about how Anderson would take the news about the baby.  It had just been the two of them for so long.

Anderson was upset at first, it just didn't make any sense to him.  He thought that maybe he wasn't enough to make Tanya happy.  He tried to bargain with her by offering to help out around the house more instead of going to the park to play.

Tanya quickly explained that her having another baby didn't mean she loved him any less or that he had done anything wrong.  She told him that she had so much love in her heart that it was overflowing and there would be enough to go around, even with a new baby.  He seemed to take that into consideration for a few days and then declared to her that she could have the baby...so long as he was still her favorite.  Tanya pulled him in close and just hugged him until he squirmed away to go paint some more.

Tanya couldn't wait to tell Christopher about the baby.  She just knew he'd be just as excited about the pregnancy as she was.  He had to be!

The strange thing is every time she tried to get him to come over for dinner he was either too busy or he'd say yes and then call back a few minutes later and tell her he was sorry but something came up.  It was like Chris was avoiding her all of a sudden.

After a couple weeks of this, Tanya had enough.  She decided to go to his house and tell him.  As she pulled up she noticed the lights were on in the main room.  "Good," she thought, "that means he must be home."  Finally, she could tell him the good news.  As she walked up the stairs to the door she just happened to look into the window just in time to see Chris pull back from hugging another woman.  She stood there and watched in dismay for a minute, stunned.  After a few minutes she took off without ringing the bell.  How could he do this to her?  She thought he was the one!

  1. Ah man, Christopher. Maybe it wasn't what Tanya saw. She should have rung that bell and found out what the mystery woman was doing there.

Damn, now she has to go through another pregnancy alone. At least she has Anderson. I loved how Tanya explained to him about the second baby, and his reaction, it was so cute the way he was pleading with her, not realizing that the baby is on the way, and no amount of bargaining will work.

    Loved it as always.

  4. LOL tell me about it. I have a feeling it is going to get harder and harder to come up with ways to meet men and dump them (and still be unique enough to be interesting lol)

  5. Slutty Sims, haha. I'm hoping the girl my Cian got to join his band stays single long enough for him to snag her. They get along really well, but I left storyline progression on. It keeps things interesting, but it also keeps me on my toes!
