That night Tanya had a restless sleep, tossing and turning. She kept seeing images that didn't seem to make any sense. There was a feeling of fear as well as a feeling of calm pressing down over her. How could one be that terrified and calm at the same time? Tanya grew more and more confused with each flashing image.
Then she saw a man with eyes just like the triplets. His hair was jet black and he wore it in a shaggy fashion. It looked like he hadn't shaved in days, but it suited him. His eyes once again made Tanya feel panic and then a sense of peace washed over her. The stranger's piercing stare seemed to be speaking to Tanya in some way. She just needed to figure out what they were saying. Maybe then she could remember what happened to her and who was the father of the girls.
Tanya got up super early the next day, praying that no one else would be awake. Especially Anderson. He would ask way too many questions, and she just didn't have the answers to give him. She brewed a pot of coffee and made her way to the computer. Tanya had heard rumors of other Sims with these eyes. She had thought it was all just a load of bull, until Ansley had opened her eyes that night and they glowed. The internet just had to have some information.
Tanya spent as much time as she could researching, trying to make sense of it all. She didn't have much free time though, the triplets were very demanding. If it wasn't a dirty diaper that needed changing, then it was time for a bottle for one of them. Before she knew it, Chase had grown up enough to enter school. He was super excited as Brent had just told him the whole school was about to go on a trip to the mausoleum. He grew up just in time!
After Chase's first day of school, Anderson thought he would be nice and all three boys sat down to do their homework together. That way if Chase had a question about something, he'd be right there. Chase thought that was just the coolest thing ever. He struggled a bit on a few questions but he'd get the hang of it soon. Oh, and remember that field trip? Chase found a mysterious gnome statue and a cool rock. Yeah, school was definitely his new favorite thing.
Tanya had worried a bit at first that Brent and Chase would grow apart when Brent started school a while back. She was glad to see she needn't have worried as the two quickly became inseparable once again. If the two weren't out in the sandbox building great monuments, then the were pretending to be princes fighting for the throne. Tanya was also relieved when the two didn't mind sharing a room, as space had gotten a bit tight once the triplets arrived.
Tanya kept getting an eerie feeling, almost like someone was being watched. It wasn't the same as when Grady's ghost would come visit her either. This feeling was much more sinister and dark. Then they showed up. Three creepy looking dolls from what seemed like thin air. She went to warm up some bottles for the girls and when she got back the dolls were in the cribs next to each baby. All of the boys were at school so it couldn't have been them, but then how?
Later that night the creepy feeling came back, only stronger this time. Someone was definitely here, watching her family. Tanya made the boys come in from playing in the sandbox and just as she was closing the door she thought she saw him. She pushed the door back open, but the yard was empty. She took a few steps outside and looked around the corner, but there was no one there either. Maybe her mind was just playing tricks on her, she had been reading too many stories while researching.
A few days later, Anderson legally became an adult. Tanya was a little apprehensive in calling him an adult, he was still her baby! She just couldn't believe how time has flown. It seems like just yesterday she was changing his diaper and reading to him every night. Anderson decided to stick around and help Tanya out at least until the triplets get a bit bigger. Besides, he hadn't started a real job yet so he didn't have the money for his own place.
Not long after his birthday, Anderson graduated. He was so excited about it that he wore his cap and gown all day long. It was a lovely ceremony and Tanya was so proud of her oldest. She just couldn't believe it. When they got home from City Hall, Anderson stood in the door way and tossed his diploma over and over. He couldn't be happier. Even Brent and Chase told him how proud they were and how glad they were to have a brother like him. It was one of the best days of his life!
Soon the girls were toddlers. First was Ansley, she was fast becoming quite a character. She was very smart when she wanted to be, and pretty athletic too. She would crawl and crawl and crawl. Ansley was always on the move and that didn't change once she could walk either. Tanya could tell she was going to be a handful.
Next was Briannah's turn to become a toddler. She was such a friendly little girl. Bri would babble to anyone that would listen. Sometimes even when no one was around she could be heard in the nursery. She was very orderly and disciplined as well. She would always put her toys away before grabbing another or even before bed. She was also the only one out of the three that fussed if she had to wear a dress.
Last, but definitely not least, was Callie. Callie was a very quiet child. She kept to herself most of the time and preferred that mysterious doll that had popped up to any contact with people. She loved purple, and would always pick out all the purple outfits. Callie was a very light sleeper, so much so that Tanya contemplated putting her crib in another room as the other girls would wake her up sometimes. But in the end, she just couldn't separate the three.
One night when Tanya went to check on the girls, there was Grady. He stood watching Ansley sleep while holding Callie. As soon as he noticed Tanya though, he put Callie in her crib and vanished, leaving Tanya so confused. All that researching and she was still no closer to finding out who was the father of her girls, or how it happened. Just that flash of his face while she dreamed.

Those eyes they have are spooky!!! I feel bad for Grady. He probably thinks she cheated on him but she didn't not really. It's very sad. :( The girls are all very cute and seem to look just like their father.
ReplyDeleteAren't they? I debated making Tanya afraid of them but decided against it lol. Yeah it is sad for Grady. I think he feels cheated in just about every way possible right now.
ReplyDeleteI'll have better close ups of the girls later, getting hard to tell them apart sometimes lol.
Gah! Those are too spooky! So's the creeper guy! D:
ReplyDeleteI hope everyone stays safe! :3 '
The girls are adorable and I can't believe Anderson's already a YA! :-o
Great chappie! :]
Thanks Drew. The more I look at them, the more I like the eyes hehe.
ReplyDeleteYeah, Anderson sure grew up fast didn't he? He'll be around for a few more chapters at least though!
I told you you wouldn't disappoint. I loved this and I was sad when I came to the end.
ReplyDeleteAnd yeah I knew he'd be yummy. I like his looks, a lot. I wonder if he made her his thrall or something. Why is she dreaming about him? Is he reaching out to her telepathically, forcing back her memories through her dreams? Or are her visions slowly coming back on their own.
Ooooh, I can't wait for their meeting, I can't wait for the day she'll get all her answers.
I love the tots, glowy eyed and all and they are so cute. It's amazing how well you've given each tot a personality in not so many words. I wish I was as good as you. I still don't know what I'll do with my triplets.
GREAT JOB. Sorry I passed out last night. I was bushed!
Val, wow! Thank you so much for your comment. You don't know how much that means coming from you, but trust me you are as good if not better than I am. I absolutely love love love your work!
ReplyDeleteLove the toddler CC hair. I can't stand the ones for girls that came with the game so wasn't going to spend much time with the triplets until they were older but now so many new possibilities!
If/When Tanya meets the vamp of her dreams will definitely be interesting. I think it's a bit off yet though, he has plans to watch from afar for a bit longer.
The vampire with the violet eyes is hawt! 0_0 and poor grady! he was so nice and loving, he thinks she's cheated on him. Or does he?
ReplyDeleteI'm still suspicious about the vampire dude....did he drug tanya or use his magical vampire powers or something? Whatever it is, I love the triplets, Briannah reminds me of me!
Love it, and keep writing!
Thanks so much Lilystar! I tried to upload him to the exchange right after I made him several months ago but it failed and for some reason I haven't been able to retry.
ReplyDeleteI feel so bad for Grady as well. Poor guy lost everything. Hopefully he'll be ok once everything is out in the open.
The triplets came out adorable. My fav is Callie for some reason.
